HIGH NECKS

HIGH NECKS

05/11/2016

NEWLOOK(OLD)

This is by far my most used and probably most favourite top in my wardrobe. You can use this top in sooooo many different ways and that's always a good thing if you're like me and want to make the most out of your money! I usually wear it layered with something like under long sleeved round neck tops or even just paired with a flannel but I can dress it up or down and that's super useful when you don't know what to wear!

ZARA(SUMMER 2016)

I adore the colour of this top and how 60's it looks. I love the zip and the collar however I find it hard to know what to wear on top of it and so I feel it's defiantly more of a summer top but I love none the less. I actually got this in the sale and it was like £7.99 which was such a bargain and a seriously good find.

My go to colour this season by far has been red. I got this jumper on my uniform(I work at Topshop) and it has been my most worn item by a long mile. The neckline is slightly too high so I just tuck it inwards and it creates a perfect high neck for autumn time. The sleeves are my favourite part of this look as they aren't like normal jumpers and they have a bit of length to them which I think is very different and really flatters your arms.

This funnel neck jumper has honestly been a key piece in my wardrobe. Again with this neckline I have rolled it down as its way too long for my neck but when it gets a lot colder I'll probably keep it all the way up just for warmth. The colour of this jumper is so dreamy and by far the most autumnal thing I own right now. The sleeves are huge which is what I like most because it gives it a very vintage look and this season is all about being comfortable and baggy clothes are defiantly the most cozy of them all!

TOPSHOP/ LOVING YOUTH(OLD)

I got this top quite a while ago when fashion was introducing the turtle neck again and although I haven't worn it a huge lot it's still a fav piece of mine due to the hot pink. I like to layer a spaghetti top over this as it's a little on the short side and I'm not totally body confident but it also makes it look less busy than what it is. The turtle neck and long sleeve make it perfect for this time of year because you're covered but still looking in trend.

My love for high necks will never go and they're defiantly a staple piece in my wardrobe all year round. I love how flattering they are for me and with my long neck they help make me look less like a giraffe! Also they're great this time of year as the keep the wind off your neck and defiantly makes me feel more warm! Let me know your favourite kind of neckline!
