HIGH NECKS

HIGH NECKS

05/11/2016

NEWLOOK(OLD)

This is by far my most used and probably most favourite top in my wardrobe. You can use this top in sooooo many different ways and that's always a good thing if you're like me and want to make the most out of your money! I usually wear it layered with something like under long sleeved round neck tops or even just paired with a flannel but I can dress it up or down and that's super useful when you don't know what to wear!

ZARA(SUMMER 2016)

I adore the colour of this top and how 60's it looks. I love the zip and the collar however I find it hard to know what to wear on top of it and so I feel it's defiantly more of a summer top but I love none the less. I actually got this in the sale and it was like £7.99 which was such a bargain and a seriously good find.

My go to colour this season by far has been red. I got this jumper on my uniform(I work at Topshop) and it has been my most worn item by a long mile. The neckline is slightly too high so I just tuck it inwards and it creates a perfect high neck for autumn time. The sleeves are my favourite part of this look as they aren't like normal jumpers and they have a bit of length to them which I think is very different and really flatters your arms.

This funnel neck jumper has honestly been a key piece in my wardrobe. Again with this neckline I have rolled it down as its way too long for my neck but when it gets a lot colder I'll probably keep it all the way up just for warmth. The colour of this jumper is so dreamy and by far the most autumnal thing I own right now. The sleeves are huge which is what I like most because it gives it a very vintage look and this season is all about being comfortable and baggy clothes are defiantly the most cozy of them all!

TOPSHOP/ LOVING YOUTH(OLD)

I got this top quite a while ago when fashion was introducing the turtle neck again and although I haven't worn it a huge lot it's still a fav piece of mine due to the hot pink. I like to layer a spaghetti top over this as it's a little on the short side and I'm not totally body confident but it also makes it look less busy than what it is. The turtle neck and long sleeve make it perfect for this time of year because you're covered but still looking in trend.

My love for high necks will never go and they're defiantly a staple piece in my wardrobe all year round. I love how flattering they are for me and with my long neck they help make me look less like a giraffe! Also they're great this time of year as the keep the wind off your neck and defiantly makes me feel more warm! Let me know your favourite kind of neckline!

HOLY GRAIL PRODUCTS

HOLY GRAIL PRODUCTS

02/11/2016

I'm extremely lucky when it comes to my skin because (touch wood) I rarely get spots and massive breakouts however I do have a lot of redness and sometimes dry skin and that's why I always use these four products. No matter how good your skin may be you still need to look after it! Apart from drinking lots of water(which to be honest I should do more of) these products for me really help my skin from looking dull and patchy.
I usually shower every morning and night and so to prevent my skin becoming dry  I use this kind to skin shower gel by Simple. It has vitamins in it which really helps to waken up your skin and on a more important note.. it smells amazing!
After I've showered(and before I put my makeup on) I moisturise my face and body to make me baby smooth and to help again with the dryness of my skin. I'm currently using a moisturiser that has a slight tint in it just to help maintain the slight tan I got over the summer as I'm trying to hold on to it for as long as I can before turning into a ghost again. It has a great smell and I don't feel like I have to stay still for an hour as it drys and I'm not a slippery mess which is perfect for impatient people like myself.
My favourite product of all time is defiantly my glycolic glow tonic which I apply every evening after removing my makeup and every morning before applying any makeup. It helps remove dead skin and helps make the face and neck more radiant which is exactly what I need because the bags under my eyes actually make me look like a zombie. I defiantly feel more confident not wearing makeup now that i have started using this product due to the fact my skin is actually mainly one colour now rather than 100 shades of black and red.
The most important thing for your skin is to be able to breathe and you can't exactly achieve that while wearing makeup everyday so I make sure I take it off every night and usually as soon as I know I'm not going out again. My face is quite sensitive so I have to make sure I use makeup wipes that have no fragrance in them but other than that I use whatever ones I manage to pick up as I'm not hugely fussed. I also like to make sure I have at least one day a week where I don't wear makeup as It's nice to embrace your natural beauty and give your skin a real chance to breathe and get some fresh air!

These are my personal holy grail products that I use religiously but I'm no expert and I'm just using what I think works on my skin. However I'm still to find something that will seriously help my under eye circles so please let me know if you know anything(that isn't sleep) because not even concealer can cover those bad boys.
